Design garbage.
A portfolio posting series related to posting illustration and design work I’ve performed for other artists over the years. Needless to say, it cost me more in time, reputation and has thrown additional fuel to an escalating attitude on the fire. Also, by designing in general, I help contribute to the production of future litter, destroyed trees for wasted paper and the continuation of the production of non-biodegradable ink in many cases. ”It’s a catch-22.”
Scattered through out the site you’ll see portfolio articles marked as “Design Garbage 101: ________________” containing custom illustration and design work done for clients, bands, artists, homeless people, poor people, fake family members, liars, traitors, saints, patriots, titans, vikings, animals, myself and whatever. If I had to do it all over I’d be an accountant. Math Equations pay better, art and design barely buys me lunch. With math, the answers are inescapable and are always there to find plus benefit from. Art and commerce are one giant backstabbing tag team where ‘Idea Equations’ are made up out of thin air for someone else to make money off of even if the answers are eventually present because I designed & produced them to be marketable.

Above is a screen capture of my artist gallery and shopping cart site. Rararararasaidthegrizzlybear.com was originally a gallery featured at the Ol’ Brewery building on the river in Rockford, IL for the Fall 2009 Artscene. It also will serve as my shopping cart to sell nice limited numbered archival prints of my illustrations and posters for bands printed by local shop Wall Blank.
